Lt. Cmdr. John M. Mabus, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit command chaplain, invites the community to attend an Ash Wednesday service at one of the chapels on base, March 6, 2019. The Christian holy day commemorates the start of the Lent season, a traditional period of prayer and fasting that culminates with the celebration of Easter.
