Commanding General's Inspection Program

The purpose of the Commanding General's Inspection Program (CGIP) is to assess, assist and enhance the ability of the unit to prepare for and to perform its assigned mission through a centralized inspection program.  The success of the program relies on fostering an environment of trust and confidence, in which the Commanders' authority is respected and upheld.  The inspections are positive learning experiences and recognize excellence, but also identify root causes of problems, particularly beyond the capability of the commander to solve.
