ANNOUNCEMENTS
Good morning all,
Still a relatively slow time of year for the Marine Corps Installations East Regional Contracting Office. However, the pace normally picks up, as it is starting to now, rapidly by the end of January-early February, so keep watching the System for Award Management and GSAEBuy for sources sought and solicitations.
The North Carolina Military Business Center and Small Business Technology Development Center both have events coming up, so here are their websites:
www.ncmbc.us
www.sbtdc.org
Both organizations have multiple 2026 events posted on their websites now, so go check them out and see what events interest you and match your business.
If you are not in North Carolina, APEX Accelerators are another great resource. APEX Accelerators offer no-cost services to help businesses succeed in the government marketplace. Check out the following website for an APEX Accelerator near you:

As always if you have any questions on being eligible and competitive for Department of Defense contracts, please e-mail me at chris.rabassi@usmc.mil
For construction companies, please contact Naval Facilities Systems Engineering Command (NAVFAC), the Army Corps of Engineers or Hunt Companies. NAVFAC/USACE have the contract authority for all military construction and related services, and you can find points of contact at https://business.defense.gov/.
Hunt has the contract for all family housing and related services, and the local representative is dwayne.harrison@huntcompanies.com.
