CAMP LEJEUNE, NC, UNITED STATES - Toby Cook, a contractor with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, opens the top hatch to help navigate the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) while ascending from the water during a training event at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 18, 2024. The ACV, the Marine Corps’ latest replacement of the assault amphibious vehicle, was tested aboard MCB Camp Lejeune in order to evaluate its functionality and effectiveness in amphibious operations.
