MCAS Cherry Point - Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) contractors lift the body of an A-4M Skyhawk on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Jan. 10, 2023. The aircraft was assigned to Marine Attack Squadron-223 from May 1981 to Aug. 1987, where it logged more than 2,102 flight hours. Over the next couple of years, the aircraft will be restored by FRCE and placed in front of the air traffic control tower. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Matthew Williams)
