Executive Director, Marine Corps Installations East
Michael L. Scalise

Michael L. Scalise is a native of Hampton, Iowa and currently serves as the Executive Director, Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Mr. Scalise is a graduate of Buena Vista College Storm Lake Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1988 and has served in a multitude of billets in both the Fleet Marine Force and Headquarters staffs.

 

Mr. Scalise’s Marine Corps Installation experience includes, Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Barstow California; Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics (G-4); and Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander for Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.  Mr. Scalise retired from active duty in 2019 and assumed the duties as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Government and External Affairs (G-7), prior to his current position.

 

Mr. Scalise also holds a master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the Air War College in Montgomery, Alabama.
