MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES - Old mattresses are laid in front of Building HP-55, before being discarded, on Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 22, 2024. Marines assigned to H&S Battalion received new mattresses, blinds, and linens as part of an initiative to enhance the quality of life among Marines who live in Bachelor Enlisted Quarters.
