HAVELOCK, NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES - Veronica Morphy, storm water engineer and spill response assistant of the Environmental Affairs Department, examines a map to identify the location of outfalls linked to each body of water, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Aug. 1, 2024. EAD sustains the installation’s natural environment, this is accomplished by a commitment to compliance with relevant environmental laws, regulations, and policies, conservation of natural and cultural resources, cleanup of contaminated sites, minimizing risks to mission, prevention of pollution, and continual improvement of the environmental management system (EMS).
